PREFABRICATED
ASSORTED
DRAINAGE
COMPOSITES
These drainage composites perform multi-faceted roles
by providing
protection for waterproofing systems and collecting excess water in
planters, roof top gardens, horizontal surfaces, golf courses, municipal parks,
athletic fields,
building foundations, basement foundations, bridge abutments
& under slabs.
A variety of different
size fittings are available
to make your installation quick and easy. Advantages
in the Modular Foundation Drainage include:
-
Continuous
fabric over-wrap allows water to enter along the entire cross- section of
drain.
-
Drainage
core allows for a high volume of water and unobstructed flow.
-
Easy
to use fittings simplify installation.
-
Simple
installation by unrolling the lightweight, flexible rolls, cut and
position.
-
Rot-proof
and resistant materials to all known naturally occurring
earth minerals
and salts.
-
No
expensive product or labor for gravel or aggregate.
Modular
Foundation Drainage
This
is a modular composite drainage and
collection system consisting of a 3-dimensional, high flow, drainage core
which is wrapped with a non-woven filter fabric. The modular
composite drainage & collection system is designed to replace a
conventional sand or gravel covered pipe drain, such as around retaining
walls and building foundations. The soil particles are held back by the
non-woven filter fabric allowing just the water to pass through to the
drain core for easy removal by sump or by running to daylight.
 |
End Outlet
is used to make transition from drain to a corrugated 4"
plastic pipe for moving the collected water to sump or daylight. |
 |
Side Outlet
is used to make an in line transition from drain for intermediate
collection of water along footing. |
 |
Corner Outlet
is used to make corner transition from drain at an outside corner to
a 4" corrugated pipe to sump or daylight. |
 |
End Cap
is used to cover the cut end of drain at either vertical or
horizontal terminations. |
 |
Splice
is used to connect two strips drain either vertically or
horizontally. |
 |
Corner is used to connect two strips
of drain on an inside or outside corner |
Site
Water Drainage Composite Systems
These are a
composite turf drainage system consisting of a 3-dimensional, high flow,
drainage
core and a non-woven, needle-punched filter fabric. The filter fabric is
wrapped and bonded to
the drainage core, preventing intrusion of
the filter fabric into the flow channels during the
backfilling
process. Soil particles are held back by the filter fabric and water
passes through
to the drain.
Available in 6 inch, 12 inch, 18 inch and 24 inch widths.
Prefabricated Drainage Composites
Consists of an
impermeable polymeric sheet cuspated under heat and pressure to form a
high flow dimpled drainage core. The core is bonded to a layer of
filter fabric (available with a woven
or non-woven filter fabric). The
filter fabric retains soil or sand particles as well as freshly placed
concrete or grout, allowing filtered water to pass into the drainage core.
| #200
|
A moderate duty dimpled core bonded
to a single layer of non-woven filter fabric. Intended for
drainage applications not exceeding depths of backfill
of 10’ to
12’.
|
| #400
|
A high flow dimpled core bonded to
a single layer of non-woven filter fabric for applications requiring
drainage on one side only. Intended for both vertical and
horizontal drainage applications.
|
| #420
|
The identical properties as 400
with the addition of a protection sheet bonded to the back side
providing protection for soft membrane waterproofing systems.
Intended for horizontal or vertical applications requiring drainage
on one side only.
|
| #700
|
A heavy-duty high flow dimpled core
bonded to a single layer of woven filter fabric for heavy duty
drainage applications. Intended for horizontal drainage
applications requiring drainage on one side only.
|
Geonet:
#160, #200, #250
Geonets are extruded three-dimensional
HDPE drainage cores
providing
high flow for planar drainage of liquids or
gases.
Geonets serve as a suitable replacement for conventional
aggregate systems.
Applications:
- Leachate Collection
- Leachate Detection
- Gas Vents
- Covers
- Caps
Advantages
-
Lightweight, flexible rolls need only to be
unrolled, cut and positioned, resulting in
considerable savings in
time.
-
Materials are resistant to all known naturally
occurring earth minerals and salts.
-
Exceeds required standards from transmissivity
even at high compressive strengths.
-
Available in three thickness' ranging from
0.16" to 0.25" which will accommodate a
wide variety of
field applications.
-
Manufactured from chemically resistant
polyethylene.
-
Special or heavy equipment is not required for
installation
GEONET DRAINAGE COMPOSITES
An extruded high-density polyethylene drainage
core with a non-woven filter fabric
bonded to the ridges of the
geonet. The filter fabric retains soil or sand particles as
well as freshly placed concrete or grout, allowing filtered water to
pass into the drainage core.
The HDPE core is literally crush-proof,
yet flexible enough to conform to irregular surfaces.
Because of
this crush-proof nature, geonet drainage composites can be used in
the most
extreme cases with heavy loads and/or heavy vehicular
traffic, both horizontally and vertically.
|
300
|
A Geonet composite
drainage system consisting of a geonet core heat-fused to a single
layer of non-woven filter fabric providing drainage and filtration
on one side only.
|
|
302
|
A Geonet composite
drainage system consisting of geonet core heat-fused to a layer of
non-woven filter fabric on both sides providing drainage &
filtration on two sides.
|
|
1000
|
A geonet composite
drainage system consisting of a geonet core heat-fused to a layer of
non-woven filter fabric on the face and a coated protection layer
bonded to the back side, providing protection for soft membrane
waterproofing systems. This drainage composite provides drainage and
filtration on one side only.
