GSE StudLiner is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) embedment liner that provides concrete protection from mechanical damage and corrosive and erosive environments in a wide range of industrial, municipal and civil applications. GSE StudLiner is manufactured in thicknesses of 2.0 mm to 5.0 mm with the studs formed during the extrusion process to ensure the highest pull-out strength available from any thermoplastic concrete protective system available. Close spacing of studs provide excellent resistance to lateral movement of the liner system due to thermal expansion and contraction forces. For critical containment applications, GSE offers StudLiner DLS. The DLS dual containments lining system offers additional containment protection in critical applications by equipping the DLS system with a vacuum leak detection system. The DLS system consists of GSE StudLiner and a spacer sheet which provides the necessary spacing for leak detection between the primary and secondary barriers.

Primary features of GSE StudLiner:

  • Excellent chemical resistance

  • Provides protection against mechanical damage and abrasion

  • Stud spacing provides strength and resistance to thermal expansion and contraction

  • Outstanding resistance to UV degradation

  • Economic alternative to other concrete protection systems

  • Backed by the GSE commitment to quality

INBEDS
Dual Containment Lining Systems

To minimize the risk of contamination and improve leak detection capability, Field Lining Systems, Inc., offers a dual-containment, protective lining system called INBEDS.

This system allows for constant monitoring of containment integrity by maintaining a vacuum in the interstitial space. If either containment layer fails for any reason, leakage will be detected immediately and the remaining layer will maintain the containment. A vacuum system with automatic notification or alarm is available.

Integrated Metal Barrier

For improved containment of highly concentrated chlorinated hydrocarbons, INBEDS protective lining systems are available with an integrated metal barrier.  A variety of metal barrier materials are available.

 Inbed 2

 Light Reflective Surface

INBEDS can be manufactured with an integrated, light reflective surface. In solar exposed applications the light reflective surface minimizes radiant heat build up which causes linear expansion of the thermoplastic sheeting and linear stress on individual INBEDS. In low-light applications the light colored surface color aids in damage detection by visibly indicating scoring and punctures.

 Inbed 3

 Non-skid Surface

To enhance traction for foot and vehicle traffic, all INBED products are available
with an integrated non-skid surface. Typical applications include: spill containment, flooring, walkways, along trenches and sloped areas.
